I completed my Masters in Forestry in 2005 from Forest Research Institute University, Dehradun & joined the Wildlife Institute of India
in the same year. I worked in Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary, Madhya Pradesh understanding prey dynamics for my Masters dissertation work. I worked in Gir landscape of Gujarat for 11 years & investigated economics of lion conservation in Saurashtra Landscape for my doctoral
thesis. I joined NTCA Tiger Cell of the Wildlife Institute of India in 2016 & was associated with the initial development phase of M-STrIPES. Currently I am deputed at NTCA Head Quarter in Delhi & mostly provide technical inputs to NTCA, predominantly in matters
related to assessment of developmental proposals for National Board for Wildlife, evaluation of Tiger Conservation Plans & scrutiny of Eco-sensitive zones of the Tiger Reserves.
