I have done my BSc (Zoology) & MSc (Wildlife Science) from Aligarh Muslim University, India, & subsequently joined the All India Tiger Estimation (AITE 2013-14) at the Wildlife Institute of India. In 2016-17, I worked with the Rajasthan forest department (in Mukundara Hills TR) to design line transects. Since 2017, I have been engaged in the MSTrIPES project development & implementation looking after the Rajasthan & Terai Arc Landscape (Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, & Bihar). I am also involved in the development and implementation of CaTRAT, a camera trap image processing tool. I am interested in studying large carnivores & work for their conservation.
