Yash Dabolkar

Project Associate I, MSTrIPES

I did my graduation & post graduation in Zoology (Hons.) from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat & specialised in Avian Biology & Wildlife Biology in Master’s. I did a short term internship in WII in AITE 2018-19 to learn about camera trapping & distance sampling techniques. I joined WII in 2019 under the Long-Term monitoring on tigers, co-predators & prey project in Vidharva landscape (Pench & Bor TRs). I am interested in studying population ecology & behavior of carnivores & ungulates. I was also involved in a project to monitor the effectiveness of mitigation structures for NH44 using camera trap. Presently, I am engaged in the MSTrIPES project. Aside from professional setup, I am also a birding & astronomy enthusiast & love to play basketball.
